Asessment 3 Blog Post

In Mpi 104 we made three different blog pages Flickr, Blogger and delicious.

With my flickr page I used mainly my own images taken from my I phone. I am really into my hunting and outdoor activities so I wanted to use these types of images on all of my blogs. I actually like flickr because it’s the face book of images and you don’t have posts to read you can just go on there and have a look at everyone’s photos.

My blogger posts were a little different were I used a lot of YouTube videos which I find funny. I find myself constantly going to this page to show my best mates these funny videos. Blogger is pretty cool because not only can you put photos and posts up you can also put videos and links to other pages. I use blogger to access my other pages like flickr delicious and the master blog.

My delicious page has links to my favourite hunting pages, hunting videos and also some funny videos. I don’t use this page as much but it is very useful if you want to save a link you might not remember like pages you may need for other classes cool web-pages that you might want to go and visit later.

I really enjoyed this class as before this the only Social networking site I had was face book which is good but gets a little boring sometimes. I can really see myself using these web pages outside of class.

Assesment 2 blogger post

Mpi104 has shown me that anybody can make a web-page. Although my webpage is very basic I had a lot of fun designing it. I decided to use papyrus because I actually like the font type. My webpage has a different design style with my links being at the top of the page. I struggled to come up with a design concept for my webpage, I like to do a lot of outdoor activities so I thought I would make one about hunting. The webpage took a long time to get setup and started but the further I went with it the easier it got. I included a page about targeted species, and little about other animals around the wagga area and some links to some COOL YouTube videos. The things that I am most happy with is the fact I can tell people I have made a web page (just not tell them how shitty it is LOL). But seriously I enjoyed this class lot learning about blogger flicker and delicious and knowing that people have actually viewed my stuff on the World Wide Web.

I think I will continue to update all of my flicker, blogger and delicious sites and hopefully watch the views on my page go up. Thanks for teaching me.

Uni

My Past 5 Years-

I left school at the age of 16 chasing every boys dream "to become a tradesman". When first leaving school I missed all the commotion that happened at school but as soon as my first pay check come in I knew I had made the right decision. I worked for two companies throughout my apprentice JRC and watters. I spent most of my time working at watters electrical which I really enjoyed because most of the workers were around my age group. I worked on mainly high voltage and industrial cabling. I made a really good friend who also happened to be my boss, me and my boss/mate would always work together because we could both make each other laugh and throughout the years we always knew what each other was thinking. When doing a job with browny there was no communication needed we both knew what we had to do which meant a quicker and better job.

I found myself getting sick and tired doing the same repetitive SHIT every day and decided I needed a career change; this is when I applied and got accepted in to Charles Sturt University studding TAS. I think this will suite me very well as I love hands on things and believe it or not like helping kids. My ideal job as a teacher would be in either a remote school or working with troubled youth. As I was a little "NAUGHTY" when I was younger I think it would help kids to have a young bubbly and "FUNNY" teacher, I believe that this would have helped me out in school if I had this.

To sum up I think I have made the right decision about coming to uni but only time will tell
